Advice - Support
SUPPORTING YOUR SCHOOL AND FELLOW DANCERS:
Be happy for all the dancers you compete against from other schools and especially those from your own school. Clap, shout and cheer all the members within TE school of dance and feel free to cheer for friends you make along the way from other dance schools. Remember it is a competition but as soon as we walk off the floor we become friends no matter what the results are!
- When collecting a trophy keep smiling, because remember if you come first or last ''you have made it into the final, so be proud of yourself because we will be proud of you''!
LOOSING A LIFE:
If you hear the promoter of the competition say you have lost a life, you will need to take your A.D.F.P card up to the stage. This will then be marked and once it is marked three times you will move up a section.
- Remember you will not loose a life at every competition, you have to work hard and try and treat each round a if it is your very last round!
EATING AND DRINKING WHILE AT A COMP:
It is most important that you eat and drink while at a competition; it can sometimes get really hot so you need your fluids, as you need to have lots of energy for dancing.
- Make sure you pack lots of food and drink when attending a competition.
- Remember not to drink fizzy pop before dancing, especially when at a competition!
